Track10: The Veil release
Seattle, WA – June 30, 2008 – David Cho is hitting the concert scene with his sophomore release entitled “The Veil”, so we wanted to see what he’s been up to since his last interview with us 2 years ago.
After graduating from the UW, he spent part of his summer in L.A. at the Global Leadership Development Institute, then headed to NY to complete his complete his CD project.
Born in California as a Korean-American, he often felt like he was “living in 2 different worlds” until he did some soul-searching and realized his strengths both in his heritage and as a child of God. His first EP addresses the balance he found, and is appropriately titled “Life Begins in the Middle”.
Now, a more mature artist emerges with his 2nd CD. Hear what inspired 2 singles from this project, “Scratching the Surface” and “I’m Still Here”, and why he chose “The Veil” as the title of the newest release.
Besides reaching the number 5 slot on www.independebands.com, he is now equipped with a Booking Manager and has partnered with Compassion International.
David Cho launched as a solo artist about four years ago, but has participated in church worship teams since he was 13 years old. He currently attends New Life Fellowship in Bothell.
This week, he is in Philadelphia for the New Awakening Conference.

AIDS and deadly diseases in Africa. The underdeveloped countries of Asia. Poverty and corrupt politics of South America. These are the issues that young children have to face in these countries. They are the innocent ones that suffer the needless pain and loss with the possibility of no hope for the future.
Torn by the knowledge of these children’s lives, David Cho Music has joined forces with Compassion International to fight for these innocent by replacing the dread of despair with a glimmer of hope. Compassion-sponsored children have access to educational opportunities, medical care, nutritious food and knowledge of the love of Jesus. Today, Compassion International helps more than 1 million children in over 24 countries.
Music is the universal language. Cho has always sought to bring about a positive message through his music. Being an official Compassion International Music Artist, Cho looks forward to meshing two of his passions – his love for music and his heart for children – in bringing about awareness to the needs of these children and their unfortunate circumstances. Continually exuding a melodic message of love, hope and freedom to his listeners, David Cho hopes to offer the same for these children through the ministry of Compassion International.
